Got this from the web about Ramadan...kaya siguro di na Nov. 3:

"Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Islam uses a lunar calendar—that is, each month begins with the sighting of the new moon. Because the lunar calendar is about 11 days shorter than the solar calendar used elsewhere, Islamic holidays "move" each year. In 2005 Ramadan will begin on Oct. 5.

    Eid al-Fitr
Ramadan ends with the festival of Eid al-Fitr, which in 2005 occurs on November 4."

Walang panggastos for long holidays. EVAT will be implemented effective November 1. That means lahat ng gastusin as of that date will increase, primarily the costs of fuel. What a timing.

Sabi sa kumpanya ko, "Oct 31 as well as Nov 1 and Nov 4 have been declared non-working holidays by Malacanang".

buti na lang ok HR namin, nov. 2 was declared a holiday and nov. 4 a working day for us. may memo pala DOLE dito na pwedeng gawin ng companies as long as may buy-in ng muslims na employees. and nov. 4 is still a non-working day for our muslim employees.
