I see... my kids might want to experience to trek the mountain aside from my wife who has a better stamina than me.

I have no experience with this except for this place around Dingalan. I don't think it is a mountain but just a hill but I nearly lost my breath! I was even wearing a pair of jeans and sandals as I don't know what I'm into.

Anyways, they can always wait for me.

Taking the opportunity here, can I simply use ordinary rubber shoes? In the earlier post, I saw the guy who bought a pair of trekking shoes.

Now I am reminded, I don't have rubber shoes!

Try the mountains of rizal, especially treasure mountain, hike is an easy 45 min to 1hr climb,
Treasure Mountain DIY Guide in Tanay, Rizal 219 (Updated)

A good 2nd climb is masungi, next is batulao, fairly easy, any running shoes will do...800 peso sadugo sandals is good alternative

I strongly disagree on batulao. Hehe
Its neighbor talamitam or ulap in benguet is easier.

Thank you! I was contemplating and I came to my senses. I don't think I'm up for the challenge of driving and trekking, then trekking and driving.

I was physically active but that was for so many years ago. I even tried to compete once in an inter-club event.

    How time flies...

You mean nature reserve na ang entrance is sa quirino? Or mismong eco park?

The eco park has a loop trail that is only few kms. Not enjoyable tbh.

Kaya ko lang natanong kasi wala naman guide dun sa eco park.
