About 5 yrs back, i had one from Black label yung hard plastic one with wheels. I used it for the first time in my short trip to Singapore and checked in luggage. Paglabas sa luggage carousel , meron crack & i immediately reported it sa airline. On my return trip back to Manila, still i checked it in and got the cracked bigger. The airline paid me 1,200 pesos for the damage & i throw the away the bag.

June 8th, 2014 04:50 PM #92Napansin ko locally wala nang mabili nung malalaking luggage just like in the 80's and 90's. I recall about 7 or 8 years ago while on vacation in the US I needed to get another luggage because of the stuff I accumulated, so I saw this no name brand luggage in the large size that I wanted it cost me $65 which I thought was reasonable, took it home with me, nakita ng ate ko at nanay ko, they liked it and said it was reasonable so bili din sila one each. After 2 trips, lahat kami sira na ang maleta, after that ayaw ko na bumili ng basta basta, mura nga pero mapapamura ka naman. Until nakita ko yung maleta nung isang business partner namin on a trip to Europe, malaki siya at mukhang matibay, nung tinanong ko local lang daw yun sa SM nabili. Hanap ako sa SM meron nga ganung style kaso phase out na yung size na gusto ko but since we needed a luggage desperately, we got the biggest available there. Come 2011, I went to the US again, on the way to the US sinadya ko magcarton so that I can buy 2 luggages which is the maximum allowable on US flights. A week after I arrived there I went to Ross which is one of my favorite stores in the US because of the name brands that they carry but at bargain prices since its one season off, tumingin ako sa mga luggages doon and I realized how stupid I was the last time around, nakita ko yung super laking size na hinahanap ko just like the $65 no name brand for $70, pero ito Samsonite, bought 2 and brought it home, nakita nanaman nung travel partners ko ( my sister and mom) di nila napansin na Samsonite kaya inaalaska ako, so when they asked how much sinabi ko yung presyo sinabihan ako na nagsasayang lang ako ng pera kase parehas lang yan nung nabili ko nakaraan, sinagot ko tignan nyo muna kung anong tatak. Nagulat sila na Samsonite pala yun, so bumili na naman tigiisa yung mag ina. Hanggang ngayon buhay pa lahat and I bought 2 more on another trip to the US and one of them I gave to my mom in law.

my favorite bag, nothing fancy, an Olympia. can be used as backpack.
i've dragged this through nine US states, from groceries at target and walmart, to expensive electronics that i had to haul through Silicon Valley for several kilometers (i was too cheap to get a taxi haha)
at least 5x to singapore, 2x to HK, to beijing, shanghai, malaysia, thailand, etc...
that picture was taken last week at NAIA 2. still going strong...

Anyone knows where I can buy Maxpedition bags and accessories? I don't want to order online (Tacticalasia or Outfitter) as I prefer to touch the items first.
Thanks.
ask them to correct it, po. they will create a new CR, is what they did to mine years ago. they...
