    1. Dont buy cheap Christmas lights (those without genuine PS product standard labels). Buy only from reputable stores.
    2. Unplug Christmas lights when going out or going to sleep.
    3. Always keep your windows close, specially those facing the streets, to avoid flying rockets (kwitis) and other flying fireworks from accidentally flying into your home.
    4. Dont use candles as decors.
    5. Dont buy nor light fire crackers if possible.

    Dagdag pa kayo mga tsikoteers

Dispose of cigarette butts and candles properly, try not to light candles na nakapatong lang sa table without a container (preferrably glass). I know some people who like to light candles pag holidays.

Kung talagang di maiiwasan,- don't hold the firecracker while fusing it.

Tie an ignited moquito coil on one end of a '10-foot pole' and then fuse the firecracker from there while holding the other end of the pole.... Also, do not get near and worse, pick-up (a) firecracker/s that did not blow-up. (Best of all,- do not buy firecrackers.... )

Go shoot at a legitimate shooting range a few days before new year so you will not have any urge to illegally discharge your gun during new year's eve.

Always check your Fire extinguisher kung meron kayo sa bahay, kung wala bumili kayo dahil yan ay para ring baril yan na hindi mo alam kung kelan m kakailanganin.
