like theveed, i've only said yes to taking godchildren who i know i will see enough (or are close enough to their parents) to take an active interest in their growth and be a surrogate parent to. otherwise it's all BS in my opinion.

so i have two inaanaks (both of them are my nieces). i try to keep in touch, even though we moved away to Florida....and yes, they are getting gifts this christmas

Hmmm...

parang oo yata...but they already know i'm an a--hole so hindi nasisira ang reputasyon ko :evillaugh

j/k. serious answer - hindi ko naman binigyan ng flat no. sabi ko, i'm honored and will accept, but wouldn't it be better for someone else who will be around, and will nurture and take care of their child like she was his own, for the rest of her life?

either na-convince ko sila...or they read between the lines and now they hate me for the rest of my life :hihihi:

i have 35 Godchildren as of Sep 2006 ... mas madami pa compared sa age ko wahehehe (dami kasi relatives & dear friends)

i stopped giving gifts dun sa 18yo+ ko. but since maaga sila nag-asawa, i give gifts to their kids na (2 pa lang naman sila)
