    Mga Peeps,

My family and I are going to Coron Palawan next month, meron na kaming Return ticket.

But no place to stay yet and itenerary.

Advise naman what the best way to enjoy our trip, where is the best place we can stay and go. I prefer the lodge since me nag advise sakin na panay labas naman kami beter get the lodge type accommodation.

    We are a family of 4 2 adult and 2 child (10&5).

    Thanks a lot

was in coron last april 25-28 this year...it took me a month studying all my options on where to stay and what to do...and i think i made the best choices.

first, coron is not yet developed commercially..so ang talagang pupuntahan mo dun are nature's wonder..nothing more nothing less...walang night life ang coron..walang fancy clubs and restos..so lahat ng activities mo gagawin mo sa tubig..

    coron has no beach front.
    l
maraming place to stay..from modest to a bit luxurious..pero hindi na importante yun kasi talagang tulugan lang ang kailangan mo since maghapon ka naman nasa mga isla, lagoons, lakes, etc.

sa lahat ng papasyalan nyo walang mabibilhan ng pagkain kaya YOU NEED TO PREP FOOD pang maghapon na yun.

either you ask the resort where ur staying to cook ur food for a fee (minimal, hindi mukhang pera ang mga taga coron)..or ud opt to just buy pang ihaw ihaw..kasi pwede kayo magihaw ihaw sa mga isla..may mga makakainan din sa town proper (decent karinderias..and prices are cheap)...btw..everything in coron town is walking distance.

ITS A MUST to hire ur own boatman...ur boatman is also ur tourist guide, alalay, cook, maid, etc...and normally they come prepared, may mga kitchen utensils, charcoal, etc..basta sabihin nyo kaagad sa kanila kung ano ang gusto nyong gawin...you ask ur resort owner to look for a boatman for you..sila ang nagaasikaso nyan...swerte nyo kung masipag ang inyong boatman..i had a very good boatman and i still have his number..pm me kung interesado kayo...tip: boat ranges from 1500-3000/day depende sa dami nyo at laki ng bangka.

1st time coron tourist normally do the CORON LOOP..(banol beach, kayangan lake, skeleton wreck, siete pecados, atuayan, twin lagoon, cyc beach, smith's beach etc)...depende kung ilang araw kayo..since 3 whole day ako sa coron...hinati ko ang coron loop sa dalawa para hindi nagmamadali kasi island hopping to the max talaga.

nmay, DIY CORON by owen ferrer helped a lot and www.justwandering.org by nina fuentes....

mas maganda magpunta sa mga lugar na di pa masyado sikat kasi alam mong di pa prostituted yung lugar...caramoan is slowly becoming popular...misibis..and now calaguas is making noise...

    sorry OT na

Been to Coron last April 16
For lodging, try Princess of Coron. It is two blocks away from the main road so hindi masyadong maingay from tricycle noise. They have a small pool (which looks like a fish pond at first).

Very near sa mga restos like Kawayanan, Lolo Noynoy's and Bisto Coron.

For hassle free everything (since first timers kayo?), try Owen Ferrer's packages. As in sila na bahala sa lahat (starting from the airport)
