    via seair or asian spirit. we took the seair flight. nice ang plane nila, although its just a 40-seater aircraft. walang PAL doon kasi hindi pwede lumapag yung mga bigger planes because of the airport's sloping runway.

    Iilan lang sir ang pwede mong tigilan don. there's a nice pension house near the airport, we stayed there at ok naman. hindi pa mahirap sa pagkain kasi yung ibaba ng house eh canteen. at masarap magluto yung may-ari.

    * sir Isuzoom

    Seair flies to Basco on Tuesdays and Saturdays. 5 am umaalis sa domestic airport. Mga 1 hour and 20 min ang flight.

    ^ Hehe, timeless talaga. Nabuhay ang thread after more than 5 years sleeping.

    Maaring tag-bagyo sa Agosto, sir. But Batanes is popular dahil sa bagyo so it should be a great experience pag magtsambahan mong tag-bagyo doon.

    I remember, I got a co-worker who did not go back home to Batanes while studying in Manila for 12 years! Di nga raw nakikilala ng mga kapatid.

    July-August ay medyo mas mataas ang chance na mabagyo.

    I went there last January (this year) and we were never had the chance to use the hotel's airconditioning unit. Sobrang malamig.

    When it comes to itinerary, usually hotels in Batanes have the packages available and it depends on you on how long you will stay. The ideal duration will be 5days and 4 nights, (for Batan and Sabtang islands only), you will need two more days if you want to go to Itbayat island, which is a 4 hour boat hell of a ride. You can also take a private plane going there.

    But the best way to explore Batanes is rent a bike, and discover the beauty of the island.

    The best place to visit in the Philippines.

    thanks sa replies, i think masyadong malayo na itbayat island if 4 hours pa. tsempo lang ako ng promo plane fare.

    actually gusto ko rin maka experience ng bagyo sa batanes. locals are well adapted so it will be a good experience seeing what they do during weather disturbance.
