June 12th, 2007 02:28 PM #42I heard Emirates was super kaya lang sa flight availability talagang PAL eh. Since hindi pa ako naba-bad experience sa PAL, PAL pa din ako. For domestic, I like PAL or Sea Air. Bakit nga ba parang mas magaling pa ang PAL domestic kesa sa international?

All the displeasure with PAL's stewardesses are news to me. I've yet to hear anything bad about the PAL service from either my wife or her aunt. My wife flew with PAL during her trip to the Philippines back in late 2005. My wife said the service was okay if not spectacular. My wife's aunt flew with PAL in 2004. The same thing. She was satisfied with the service. Both of them wouldn't hesitate to talk if they felt there was any bad service on PAL's part.
The only time I flew with PAL was when I visited my wife twice in Leyte back in the 90's. I flew the domestic Manila-Tacloban route. Nothing special. but, PAL's service on all my flights were far from being bad.
Oh well. I guess I'll have to see for myself someday.

June 12th, 2007 09:45 PM #442 things i hate with PAL onboard- not so pleasant /nice cabin crews and stinky, yukkky lavatories. It really sucks.
When flying Emirates, if you chance upon FA's Julie Dizon ( used to work with PGA kaya knowledgable sa kotse) and Hazel Buencamino onboard, you're in for a superb service and attention.
Virgin Atlantic- of course, one of the best inflight entertainment obviously because of VIRGIN (Sir Richard Branson), cool aircraft interiors and Esprit-like travel packs. Local version is Cebu Pacific because of "fun flight" attitude of cabin crews. They cheer up passengers, loosen tensions.
For budget travel to Singapore, Jet Star is ok. At least it's hub is Changi not the budget terminal.Clean aircraft, smiling crews but have to buy everything on board.
Northwest Airlines- virtually impossible to redeem award tickets( trans-pacific) but ok within continental USA.

Noong na-assign ako sa Seoul, Korea for 6 months (in & out ng Korea), Singapore - Seoul ang ruta, final dest. is Incheon Int'l. Airport. I once tried KAL (Korean Air Lines). Pagpasok mo pa lang, mapapansin mo na yung distinct na Korean aroma.........amoy KIMCHI yung cabin.
After that, puro SQ na ako.Last edited by chua_riwap; June 12th, 2007 at 10:06 PM.

cebu pacific is always late too. kaya pinalitan nila ang slogan na "Filipino time is cebu pacific time". grabe mag maximize ng plane ang 5J sobrang bilis ang turn around plane kaya delayed sa mga bandang hapon na flights. pero magaling kumita dahil new planes. when some airlines are sleeping at night 5J flies to regional flights naman. gokongwei talaga!

i usually prefer Tiger Airways coz its cheap(depende sa season) at malapit sa amin. pero alang tatalo yata sa mga Chinese Airlines, dadanda ng mga attendants.:cheekkiss:
