I already tried yung 4th gear test, nag-stall naman siya, please paki-enlighten me on this TIA

pahabol pa po, eto pa kasi isang issue nya nagffluctuate rpm nya and vibrating idle kapag nasa stop-and-go-heavy-traffic ako, pero pag derecho na takbo ko ok na yung idle ko, at first i was thinking of TB/IACV problem pero may possibility ba na related to dun sa clutch issue kung clutch nga yung problema? by the way napa-tuneup ko na and change oil to last month,

Check your fuel and ignition systems first they are probably due for service and it is less disruptive and less costly proposition

Is your car an auto or manual transmission.

It does sound like a transmission problem. Check the oil level first. But before you check the oil level of your transmission, make sure that the car has been driven for at least 20-30 min you have used all the gears. This way you ensure that the oil has been driven to all the necessary "chambers" clutches of the system, is hot, and you have built the pressure inside the transmission.

Check the tranny oil while the car is in idle. Unlike when you check for engine oil.
Check if the color is the same, usually, its red. There should be no discoloration. There shouldn't be any particles. It shouldn't be blackish.
Check the odor, it shouldn't have a burnt odor.

If the oil has burnt odor or is black, it is not a good sign.

If by topping up or changing the oil (dialysis), the operation normalizes, then you're good to go. If not, that means you're due for an overhaul. Yours is a complexed CVT tranny, and in this market, very few people would want to touch that tranny because its a lot of work.

update po tama talaga hinala ko, have the throttle and iacv removed and cleaned, sobrang dumi! ang kapal na ng carbon na nakakapit dun sa may bunganga ng throttle ba yun after it was cleaned ang taas ng menor umabot sa almost 3000 rpm from 1000rpm, so inadjust ng mekanic yung idle using timing light, bumalik na sa 1000rpm pag coldstart so i assume it was normal na, nung pinaandar ko na pauwi mahina parin hatak, at parang matagal mag-accelarate eh, although minsan from stop mabilis naman mag-accelerate, clutch na kaya ito? transmission problem according to one reply? I'l go back dun sa talyer na pinagpalinisan ko ng TB/IACV ko, but i wanna first hear some inputs from you guys para may idea ako what to discuss sa mechanic,

by the way MT tranny po ung type z ko and it already clocked around 113K sa mileage, TIA :-)

Apply the handbrake, then shift your transmission to 1st gear, release your clutch slowly and see if the engine stalls, if it stalls then go to the next gear 2nd, and 3rd and so forth. If it does not stall while the gear is engaged then your clutch is slipping. hth.

    Have your clutch checked/replace.

Past few weeks my car i jerking in 1st gear, i tried the "stall test" thinking it is the clutch,
and it passed in all gears, engine stalled when clutch released slowly at gear.

another week passed hanggang magdecide na ako palitan yung clutch assembly,

OEM pa yung clutch, which lasted 7 years, i am the 2nd owner of the car, kaya wala ako history kung paano
    magdrive yung previous owner.

in fairness, kahit sunog na and ubos na yung clutch, makapit padin yung OEM, kung hindi lang nagjejerk sa 1st gear, hindi ko pa
papalitan. lakas padin kapit from 2nd to 5th.

have it checked/replaced, pag na-uka nadin flywheel mo, papa-machine shop mo pa yun, dagdag gastos.
    goodluck!
