November 8th, 2008 10:43 PM #2yes, IMHO, if you are a clutch baby, one sure thing na masisira dyan ay yung clutch disc assembly at ang clutch master nya.So if you are a clutch baby, lagi na lang alanganin yung engagement ng transmission at clutch disc kaya yung disc surface is subjected to stress. Ditto with clutch master, lagi na lang me pressure dun sa rubber seal nya kaya madaling bibigay yun ergo kapag bumigay ang rubber seal tatagas yung brake fluid na ginagamit bilang hydraulic fluid nya. The result? Failure of the manual transmission gears to synchronized with the flywheel and clutch disc assembly.

I will be better if you can avoid stepping on the clutch when not necessary.
It will be hard to shift when there is a problem with your clutch because it will not fully disengage or engage the transmission from the engine. You might also experience the vibration like recklus said because the clutch have been burned or melted with the flywheel thus problem with disengaging even at full stop.

But, anyway, thanks for all the info, very informative po lahat.

Better concentrate on removing that bad habit of being a clutch driver. Most of the time nasa owner's manual nakalagay, NEVER rest your foot on the clutch pedal. Even a slight push engages the clutch resulting in premature clutch wear over time. Kaya merong false pedal sa left side ng clutch para doon mo ipahinga left foot mo when not in use.
