Clutch Slipping when sudden acceleration (new clutch set) ....

Recently replaced the clutch pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing ..

But clutch is still slipping under sudden acceleration ..

Replaced the master & slave cylinders ..

1st gear & 2nd gear acceleration is ok (or hindi ko lang mamalayan)

but 3rd or higher, when acceleration pedal is floored immediately, rpm rises but speed is not .. if you lay off the pedal slowly after being floored, that's when you felt the clutch biting & creating torque to accelerate ..

is this normal ??

Is this the same car that you always have a problem with? If your answer is yes, go to another auto shop or change your technician.

This sounds like poor surface preparation of the flywheel surface and/or the corrosion protective oil on the pressure plate wasn't cleaned off with brake parts cleaner or denatured alcohol.

You mean the flywheel should be resurfaced (machine shop) ?? The mechanic suggested that no need to resurfaced the flywheel because it is still in good condition ...

What is corrosion protective oil on the pressure plate ?? All parts where replaced brandnew ..

what jc meant was simply cleaning the new parts with degreaser to remove the preservative coating. new parts are coated with wax/light grease/preservative oil. dapat nilinis ng degreaser bago kinabit. kung hindi nilinis e di dudulas nga at may lubricant.

Can I spray and clean the clutch parts without pulling down or dismantling the transmission ??

Diba may butas sa ilalim ng bell housing, pwede ba doon nalang ipasok ang maliit na hose ng brake cleaning spray ???

What you can do after the fact :

Try dishwashing detergent (dawn).
Pop the clutch fork boot open, squirt about a cupful, insert garden hose through the boot, run the engine while water is running into the bell housing until the water runs clear and without foam. Try to contain the runoff water and dump into the toilet. Don't let it drain to the ground. You inhale the dust on the ground when it dries if you don't dispose of it properly.
