many old skul drivers prefer MT.
"mas matibay", and less fastigious/demanding of maintenance.

    personally,
if the pidal and manibela are magaan naman, and the aircon is cold, i would probably prefer MT.
but then, crawling trafic is not my regular experience.

    well,
today's ATs do seem to built more robustly than yesterdecades'...

    i don't know...
after 16 years and over 145K km,
i am still driving around with the MT clutch system that came with the innova, back in 2005.

i'm selling my city '05 w/ 140k on the clock. clutch still good. in fact i never had to replace the clutch on any car i've owned palit MTF lang every 6yrs, less than 2 liters of MTF. an A/T on a subcompact probably requires around 6 liters. the a/t on the jimny i'm about to buy needs 5.7 liters of "suzuki ATF 3317" i wonder what i could substitute for that

You'll only be able to drain & fill 2liters Ecstar AT OIL 3317 at a time. Do it twice or thrice each change cycle w/ some kms clocked in between.
