first rule is to familiarize yourself with the car. each car has its own feel ng clutch. know when it engages and if kulang ang engage during acceleration, timplahin agad ng accelerator. you should know your clutch as if it is part of your body.
on traffic, put the gear in neutral and mabilisan ang reaction. if you are still uncomfortable with this, hayaan mo magantay ng onti yung nasa likod mo. if paakyat and may stop, engage your handbrakes first before putting the gear in neutral. pag tatakbo na, put it into gear and release your clutch/press your accelerator while turning of the handbrakes.

Kapag magrerestart ng makina bakit kailangan off muna yung aircon bago restart? Ano mangyayari kapag hindi mo off aircon mo before restarting the car?
gaya nga ng sabi ko, you need to be very familiar on how your clutch engages. some clutches engage at 25%, yung iba, at around 50% release. and if it engages, may direct proportional requirement yan sa accelerator. pag pataas, gaya nga ng sabi ko, engage the handbrake first, and only release it pag nakuha mo na yung tamang timpla ng clutch and accelerator.
on your other question, if you start the car with the compressor on, malakas ang kain ng kuryente wherein sabay ang power need ng compressor and the ignition. ubos baterya mo dyan.
solution, familiarize your car's clutch, para alam mo na laro,
downshift nalang.![]()
What im doing sa mga humps, stop and go ay mag neutral.
Just memorize your clutch's bite point - this is the point wherein if you release the clutch any further, the car will move forward slowly (on a flat surface) or shudder (when you're also stepping on the brakes).
Then, after you fully press the clutch to engage the gear, release it all the way to the bite point. This takes practice and most people prefer to err on the side of caution (hence the clutch riding) than to risk stalling (if clutch is released too much and too quickly).
It usually takes about a week or two to fully memorize the bite point of a car that's new to you.
