I need help on the correct claim process for these:
1) Condominium at fronting our parking space is currently having their walls painted (picture top right). Contractor covers vehicle in the parking lot with lona/sack like material. Now droplets still find their way into the car's paint. I talked to the contractor and they say it's water based and easily removed. I tried it but no, some are already dry.
I asked the contractor that I'll have the droplets worked on by detailers who know what they do. I gave an estimate of not more than 700.00 as it's only sandpaper 20, wax and buff. I think this is reasonable.
2) Same condo had a falling air conditioning unit cover fall from one of their tenants (picture bottom left). It hit my car leaving a scratch mark and dent (picture top left).
Condo is still working on this as I've said I will file a claim and complaint. The Security OIC will not give his name yet until the building administrator has confirmed and created a report. Our buildng security already created a report with witnesses that the aircon cover hit my vehicle.
What is the correct process to claim against such damages? Will I have my insurance cover it and let them go after the contractor (paint) and condominium (aircon cover) for the participaton?

Wag muna liha pang tanggal sa paint sir. Dalhin nyo sa mga detailer na may Clay Bar. Much better kung yung Aggressive Clay Bar ng Meguiars magamit since nasa top lang naman yung paint, sayang kung lilihain.

You have a valid claim from the contractor who should pay you, and this in turn will be covered by the contractor's CARI insurance.

October 22nd, 2014 02:44 PM #7not a case of malicious mischief.
reklamo mo muna sa city officials engineering office para magkaroon ng cease and desist order, as much as possible huwag muna sa court kasi lalaki lang ang gastos mo.
file ka for cancellation of whatever permit they applied sa city hall para mapilitan sila na ayusin yung auto mo. - sorry - natatandaan ko lang kasi is law on property under falling debris- na general rule sagot ng building owner. baka may iba pang special law, r.a. city/barangay ordinance na pwede i apply sa situation mo
-sagot ng owner kasi di ka naman part doon sa construction or repair contract di ba- kaya di pwede ituro ng owner na ang contractor ang may sagot- applicable only to private persons not to the government and any of it's instrumentalities
pasensya na.

Salamat na marami. Tumawag na contractor ng paint job and sila sagot sa paint removal with detailing. At lalagyan nila mg auto cover na maayos para di na maulit. I'm taking it.
Problema ko na lang ay yung bumagsak na aircon cover galing sa condotel. Pakiramdam ko dun ako pahihirapan
