I had an after-thought one day like say for instance, if I decide to bring my bike home into the Philippines, instead of dismantling it and boxing it, and sent home by seafreight, why not, ride across Malaysia, Into Singapore, then Across Indonesia to perhaps Bitung or into West Malaysia then into either Palawan or Zamboanga, roam around Mindanao, Into Visayas, then Bicol then Manila.

Searched for RORO routes, it's possible to have it from MY to SG, to ID, then back to MY(West) but the ferry route stops there and no ferry routes available to the Philippines .

Then I stumbled into this post:
Kudat-Palawan ferry service facing ‘black wall’ – BorneoPost Online | Borneo , Malaysia, Sarawak Daily News | Largest English Daily In Borneo

Which made me thought, what are the chances, the MY-PH ferry service fails to happen because of the Philippine side's non-acceptance of carnets?

Hence the question leading to the title of this thread, anybody who have seen foreign registered vehicles in the PHilippines?
