    Instant change ba or do they have to sell out all their current stocks before the price adjustment takes place?

    AFAIK, As far as the automakers are concerned they are only concerned with the base cost before taxes ng vehicle unit. Yung excise tax, passed on to the consumer yung excise tax na yun. So dapat hindi maapektuhan yung current stocks nila.

    Guys, I saw on tv awhile back a Toyota executive has issued a statement saying there might not be any changes in low end cars because of the forex. I think this is outrageous, since the peso has depreciated only by 3percent at the most, so i think the 1.3vios, which should cost a little over 500t by mid-october, should increase only by 10 or 15 thousand and not maintain its current price of 578. I think my apprehensions about carmakers taking advantage of car buyers are coming true.

    Is this true?

    I was thinking in the lines of a new Accord or a new Camry.

    So basically:

    Sedans = decrease in price
    SUV and AUV = increase in price
    What about pick up trucks?
