50k for a fully alpha tag. I have one for my motorbike, and yup, it was actually worth more than the motorbike I was using at the time I got it :-) They can be transferred from one vehicle to another quite easily. The paperwork seems indicative of an exemption from any coding schemes. It's issued for life. Fortunately that whole "display it only on the rear" thing works out well for motorbikes :-) (For now anyway)
