I wonder why they close the 8th ave road going to Kalayaan ave as early as 6:30pm. All traffic must now go thru that tight road in Serendra which most of the times is blocked by some construction vehicle.

I saw the road before when it was opened all lit up. Probably don't want to pay for the electricity.

Speaking of dangerous, that Serendra road where the construction is, I snapped this pic a few weeks ago and you would see that the steel bars are being carried over the traffic without protection. The crane wasnt moving at all for probably more than 2 minutes.

I think those nets are only designed to catch falling debris like stones, helmets, hammers etc. I don't know how they'll hold up to several tons of free-falling rebar. The building undergoing construction at High Street gets its materials from the stockyard across 5th Ave so they routinely hang heavy things above the busy road. The Shang site has big holes in its nets to allow materials to be unloaded from the curb.

    1. Lining up for a car pass will cause the mother of all traffic jams due to the volume of people wanting to enter. This will be a major choke point .
    2. Commercial establishments, hotels that are going up, restaurants etc will never allow it (they will lose business)
    3. If they lose business then Taguig loses tax revenue so they wont allow it either.

This isnt a private residential subdivision. Its a commercial, business and high rise district. Thats part of its charm (and traffic woes). We all have to live with it.
    Sineryoso mo naman...

^Yep, saw those. I was at BGC a couple of times over the weekend and parking was okay. Parked at One Parkade and at the open parking at the back of the Chinese resto in High Street. They're also currently building more parking buildings over the existing open lots.

S&R was a different story though.

The traffic lights in BGC can also drive one crazy if he's in a rush.

Mas mahal dun diba? I remember being shocked by my parking bill there before.

Favorite ko yung open parking that was opened just this year along those side streets next to 30th Street.

Serendra, high street was design for Caucasians, walanghiya grabe Sa init pag maglakad ka, Tapos mga puti andoon nakaupo Sa gitna nag babasa ng book under the sun, Bwisit! hinde kasi sila umiitim

Feeling ko hinde nanaman yata nasusunod zoning. Dapat yan shangrila hotel doon Sa edge ng BGC doon Sa mckinley side.

Pumapangit na BGC, it will be another Eastwood na Wala na rin hype dahil Sa traffic.

It's getting crowded and the Market! Market! side is just crazy but i'd still go here over Eastwood which is one crammed place.

Hirap din sa BHS (naks, may nick na pala siya) pag umuulan actually. Nag 50% off pala yung Sanuk dun sa ROX, too bad wala nang size for my kiddies.

^Yeah I can't imagine how it would be pag open ng SM. At least nasa dulo naman siya ng BGC.

Ayusin muna nila sana yung parking problem. Parami ng parami yung building, wala naman parking.

I agree. You can't compare BGC to Eastwood which is a very very crammed place.

I think the tall part of the SM building is the parking. Well I hope so.
