May NFC yata yung card. Also for a while ayaw gumana yung rfid sticker ko, pero nung nilagay ko yung card sa sunvisor biglang gumana ulit.

The question is if kaya talaga basahin ng reader sa toll booth yung card since nfc yung card. Subukan ko one of these days daan ako ng toll booth na hindi nakalagay yung card sa sun visor tapos sa exit balik yung card sa sun visor.

hmm. parang may something nga yang sa card ah.

nung first time ko ginamit yung RFID ko (a few days after maikabit), miss agad ako. RFID was on my windshield with full tint (3m ata? the default one offered sa casa). i chucked it to the tint, kasi pinilit ko lang si manong autosweep na sa windshield ikabit kahit fully tinted ako. at the time, the card was inside my wallet na may RFID protection. the next time na ginamit ko yung RFID, yung card nilagay ko dun sa visor organizer ko. ayun. nabasa naman. from then on, di pa ako nag-m-miss ulet sa reading (pwera bati. haha).

so baka nga yung NFC ng card ang nababasa instead na yung RFID? pero diba dapat pag NFC dapat malapit sobra sa reader? like you have to tap it or something?

Ask ko lang if accurate pa ang list of installation site naka lagay sa autosweeprfid.com? May mga toll booths and petron stations along slex na nag iinstall?

Went to their main office kanina sa bicutan. Nagpa-install na ako. Swerte lang daw kanina since long weekend, walang tao. If it was an ordinary sunday daw, daming tao normally.

Both of my cars sa headlight nilagyan. Ung isang car naka-vkool then the other solargard. 3M lang daw kaya nung tags nila.

We've been blabbing/whining/and praying for this to happen for so long now...

Agree with the MPTC head - gov't [thru the TRB] should be setting the standard in close coordination and consultation with ALL stakeholders from both the public and private sector.

Single electronic tag for all tollroads readied
    Philippine Daily Inquirer / 05:28 AM September 07, 2017

The country’s three major tollroad operators overseeing expressways in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon are poised to sign an agreement this month to integrate their payment systems.

The plan for a tollroad collection interoperability agreement, which could be signed as early as next week, was announced by the Department of Transportation yesterday. The objective is to provide a more convenient travel experience for motorists around a year from now.

The country’s tollroad sector is controlled by San Miguel Corp. (South Luzon Expressway, Metro Manila Skyway, Naia Expressway, Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway and Star Tollway), Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (North Luzon Expressway, Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway and Cavite Expressway) and Ayala Corp. (Muntinlupa Cavite Expressway).

The agreement was initially among those planned within the first 100 days of the Duterte administration, but it took a backseat to other issues. Negotiations “intensified” anew this year, an individual with knowledge of the matter said.

Rodrigo Franco, CEO of MPIC’s Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., said in an interview yesterday that the one-year deadline was reasonable.

The DOTr said it would take around six months to integrate Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems and another six months for cash collections.

Franco noted that tollroads operated by MPIC and SMC had RFID platforms, but there were complex technical issues that needed to be resolved first.

“These are not exactly similar systems. There are differences in the process, mainly on the internal workings of the systems,” he noted. Franco said there would be added investments, mainly on programming costs, but these were not expected to be significant.

Moving forward, Franco also urged the government to come up with specific standards on toll collection systems, with new expressways in the pipeline.
