It defeats the purpose of this skyway if you got stuck in traffic for hours during rush hour just to enter the start of the skyway.

Should be resolved pag nalaparan na yung Susana Heights to Skyway entry from current 4 to 6 lanes through and through. Hindi na kailangan mag-squeeze ng mga galing MCX into the 4 NB lanes.

Actually magiging maayos yan kung marunong lang tayo magbigayan, pumila at mag merge alternately.

Bossing sa obserbasyon ko ginagawa naman nila yung sinasabi mo na nag bibigayan kaso you cannot do that in speed in excess of 25 kph so dahil you cannot seamlessly do a bigayan in 80 kph or else bangaan yan or pile up, in the end gridlock or tail end long enough na nadefeat yung purpose ng expressway. Here in Dubai merging traffic is assigned in a different section of carriageway where there will be no exit or entry so that cars can seamlesly merge or exit by using delineator fixed barriers so dapat malayo pa lang alam mo na ang iyong pupuntahan at naka line up ka na sa intended mong lane.

Tama, imposible ang seamless merging dyan kasi yung nasa SLEX mainline, assuming 80-100kph ang takbo, then papasok yung galing MCX, 40-60kph lang sila since galing sila sa curved section. The acceleration lane from MCX tunnel is not enough to speed up to 80-100, so they will try to merge left *60kph tops, hence domino effect na sa mainline.

Napansin ko sakit din ito ng maraming driver upon entering the expressway (not necessarily from MCX), kahit 40kph pa lang sila they try to merge early.

Akala nila design lang ang acceleration lane, it's there for a reason, step on the gas and match the speed of those on the main lanes before merging!

correct sir, dami kasi pinoy tipid gas takot tapak gas..

isa sa mga tinuro ko sa sister ko when driving, pag mag merge, at pinagbigyan ka, mag accelerate agad and match speed sa iba..

yung iba kasi pag singit, takbo namamasyal pala

Marami dyan, takbong pogi lang daw. Hehehe

Don’t ask me - after I exit Sucat northbound, I accelerate to 100kmh in the soonest time possible.

Maayos yung issue ng merging pag nagawa na yung expansion ng overpass bridge [no movement yet here] + additional lanes [this is ongoing].
