wherever there are throngs of people, even in political rallies, may nadudukutan, i.e., pickpocketed.

you can probably go, but dress in such a way that you won't targeted and get dukuted.
having your valuables and essentials in a buddy bag in front of your chest, hidden beneath a jacket, will help.

    "don't attract attention to yourself."

Wag magmukhang pasosy.

Of course I won't "dress up" going to Quiapo. I dress simple and I'm used to going to divisoria. My issue is going alone as a woman.

I've been to Quiapo in the 90s (or early 2000s) but only in the surrounding area (to buy stuff) My mentor friend told me to wear pambahay clothes and only bring money in my pocket and nothing else - this made me anxious because I'm used to carrying a tote. I wore slippers and he told me to change into spartan or something kasi baka pati tsinelas daw iholdup so I think he lent me . Yun ang hindi ko malimutan talaga. Ewan ko kung pinagt tripan ako pero he also wore pambahay. It was quite an adventure 🤣 We brought his car and he said baka pag balik namin chassis na lang matira 🤣

Ang dami na kasi miracle sakin ni NPJN since I started my daily online mass in Dec 2020. I want to go the church talaga and buy stuff. Marami din atang native and local products there.

I only go to Quiapo these days to buy cellphone and laptap parts at Manila City Plaza or buy Capiz light balls under Q.Blvd bridge, or buy Excellente ham. Its better to park somewhere secured like SM arroceros or Isettan then do the commute. If street parking dapat agahan or else ala swerte ang bakante. Also, avoid Fridays due to traffic buildup caused by churhgoers.

I won't drive myself na lang. Looks like parking is difficult. Papasama na din ako to go around and buy religious items and local handicrafts.

BTW, I'm watching the live feed of Quiapo, may naglalakad ng paluhod. I thought this was only in Baclaran.

You can park sa QQ Mall. Katabi sya ng Isetann Recto. Kahit tanghali na ko nakakadating doon, kahit papano may bakante pa. Matagal na may naglalakad ng paluhod doon.

Our driver parked here and it was a nice location because it was near the tulay, hopia and palabok. Yung walk pa to Church ang daming pwede mabili Hindi nag register sakin when you said Quinta kasi I don't know the area.

But the best na talaga yung ibabaw ng quinta market.

Tingnan mo diskarte ko ngayon LRT-2 mas dumali buhay ko kahit madami lakad. No problem sa traffic no problem sa parking.
