things people do to fool people....tsk.tsk.tsk.
ako what i do, is if i sell a high mileage car, is to tell the buyer bakit ako inabot ng ganitong kilometrahe. and besides, if you keep the car in its best condition, extra cost lang ang mag bayad ng 8k just to change mileage of your car.
i would rather spend 8k-10k to repair much needed repairs, and show the buyer that i've repaired it.

Eh ako naniwala naman, I never did a test drive since 56k km palang naitatakbo, tsaka nasasabik na ako sa car, before kasi basta V6 engines gusto ko.
So I got my money less 20k nga lang but at least naibalik ko ang future problem ko sana.Nung tinest drive nung potential buyer, ayun isipin niyo iyon, tumirik bigla.
Naputol ang Timing Belt anak ng..
Ngayon, I'm so happy with my Alto hehe.

March 27th, 2014 01:21 AM #14Well, in our case last year we sold a 2007 Hyundai Starex GRX A/T (101-102k mileage) to someone who apparently belongs to a car exchange business. I heard from a friend that he was looking at that exact unit and was almost willing to buy it. He claims that it has 75-80k mileage na lang upon checking. Good thing he did not buy it. I don't know if it's karma for tampering with the odometer but every time I pass by that car exchange, that vehicle is sitting on that lot for over a year already while other cars come and go. I just hope the odometers of those cars weren't tampered.

March 27th, 2014 08:10 PM #15Kung ako mas ok pa yung mataas ang mileage basta maayos ang sasakyan, at least alam mong well looked after kaya kahit ang taas na ng mileage eh maayos pa din at maganda pa rin ang tayo.

July 16th, 2015 12:46 AM #16Sorry hindi lang pala 75-80k mileage. I was checking used cars and I found the exact starex that we sold based on the stickers on the windshield and interior. 48,000km na lang daw ang tinakbo from 100k+++

depende yan, dahil ang usual thinking kasi the lower the mileage the better kasi nga ang ibig sabihin hindi pa masyado gastado yung makina. like when i'm trying to sell my montero, yung isang buyer ang tiningnan agad yung odometer (80k+ kms) and tinanong at ilang years (3yrs). then after test driving with kasamang mekaniko, he tried to haggle the price to a point na hindi na reasonable kasi nga daw high mileage na
normal lang sa akin yan kako at daily drive ng asawa ko pansundo ng kids saka pang out of town trips namin kapag bakasyon ako from abroad. masyado na daw gamit na gamit hahaha! kung nasa less than 20k kms sana daw ok pa...
saan ba may nag-aadjust ng odo joke!

They managed to get that "green plate" for the Ertiga, and I heard/seen news that they're pushing...
