No Registration , No New Vehicle Release from Dealer starting 2/16/2017

Di ba dapat you're allowed to drive your vehicle home from the dealership at the very least? Got my OR/CR in about 2 weeks only back in November.

Afaik it's not allowed per LTO's Feb 2017 policy. That's the reason why car dealers will tell car buyers to sign a waiver that exempts the dealer from any liability if the car owner gets caught driving the new car from the casa.

Finally got my ORCR yesterday (Jan 17), it was dated Jan 5, 2018.

So yeah, f%#k these dealers.

Does the 7days grace period still applies for newly released vehicles from casa to freely move around the metro? My unit will be released on mid February, my plan was getting it tinted and etc outside casa before I will land travel to province

You can say that again. Natambakan daw LTO dahil sa sobra dami kumuha unit nung December, or at least yan ang feedback ng dealer ko sa akin. Excited ko makita yung date of registration vs yung delivery ng unit ko.

Nung tinawagan ako ng dealer noon reminding me of the 1000km PMS, kasi dapat daw di lalagpas ng 1 month for warranty purposes, sabi ko "Di ko nga maitakbo sasakyan ko dahil di nyo pa naire-rehistro sa LTO, tapos pipilitin nyo ako magpa PMS", ayun sabi na lang nila pag pwede na lang daw ibiahe ung sasakyan. I got my OR CR in 6 weeks after purchase.

Wow, anong casa yang rumaraket na dapat ibalik within 1 month for pms or else void ang warranty?
