I was given the assigned plate late last year but LTO wouldn't be releasing my plate soon. The vehicle was bought last Mar. 2016, dealer said the plate of our newer car would released ahead of it.

I don't think it is mandatory to place my assigned plate already since I do not want to spend cash on having a 3rd party create the temporary plates.

You can have it done sa National Bookstore - Glorietta. I don't think all branches have that. P500 for a pair.
