I did this for more than a year until I got my original plates. I never had any problem naman. Sabi nga ng officemates ko at that time, ang daya ko raw at wala ako coding

Kumusta ang implementation ng no registration - no travel policy so far? Wala na ang 7-day allowance from the date of the release na pwedeng ibiyahe ang mga bagong awto no? O pwede pa rin ba?

after the first three years, and i already had to register my 3-year-old car in the regular manner, wala pa rin! even as i already got my plates within a year of car purchase.
ayaw ma-register sa emissions testing facility, dahil wala pa raw sa system ang sasakyan ko.
ako pa ang pinapa-punta sa LTO at ma-i-pasok yung plaka ko sa system nila.

these LTO guys do not know how to run their own office.

LTO Postpones Uniform Temporary Plates; Reiterates No OR/CR, No Travel | ************ - Philippine Car News, Car Reviews, Car Features, Car Buyer's Guide and Car Prices.

^^ carguide article dated March23/2017..it partly says, "..memorandum signed by LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar C. Galvante delays the use of the standardized temporary plates from February 15, 2017 to June 1, 2017.

This means that all vehicles released from June 1, 2017 onward will be required to sport the standardized temporary plate with a prescribed format that includes information such as the Conduction Sticker number and Motor Vehicle (MV) File number prior to their release or delivery to the owner.

While this gives reprieve to all accredited vehicle dealers nationwide to secure a supplier for the standardized temporary plate, the same memorandum also reiterates the implementation of the No OR/CR, No Travel policy which is in effect.

In fact, it categorically states: “no motor vehicle shall be used or operated on or upon any highway without being registered.”

    ...blablablablah...!

what a convoluted way this LTO agency subjects car buyers into..

wait til the new excise tax whips the buying public..

    stress pa more..

nakaka stress nga sir, di naman fault ng buyer kung bakit wala pa ang or/cr...nagastusan ka na sa pagbili, ma-stress ka pa kasi di mo magamit yung auto...

i got my metal embosed temporary plates made by frenick online shop. pick up is only P600 but i had it delivered for an additional P300, tinamad ako pumunta sa kaloocan kasi gabi lang siya pwede mag meet up.

question lang. what are the dimensions (L x W) of the new permanent plates (ABC 1234). balak ko kasi bumili ng plate protector when my plates are released.

topgearPH aug15/2013 article.."The Land Transportation Office has supplied us with official illustrations of the new-design license plates, which the agency will begin issuing in September. Here are the front and back views of eight different license plates, complete with their standard measurements (in millimeters). These license plates are for (1) private passenger vehicles, (2) private motorcycles, (3) government vehicles, (4) protocol vehicles, (5) diplomat vehicles, (6) public utility vehicles, (7) other exempt vehicles, and (8) motorcycles for hire."

    http://www.topgear.com.ph/news/motor...license-plates

fast forward close to 4 years later still daydreaming for my car plates after paying P450 each from this incompetent, corrupt-ridden agency..too far fetched the amount could save lives or earn enough savings interest enough for a 1-1/2 liter ice cream..but it's almost a scam collecting from millions of vehicle owners without any hint when the plates materialize..no idea how many got theirs..when asked LTO personnel either scratched their heads or say, " tawag ka na lang sa number na yan.."

    stress pa more..
