April 8th, 2015 06:53 PM #1581Sir parang hindi rin yata recognized yung authority to travel...not sure though kung the same sya with the one that gave this guy 180 days authority to travel.
"Enforces said a motorist they apprehended in Cubao, Quezon City driving on EDSA without a car plate presented to them a paper allegedly signed by an LTO official in Region III allowing said motorist to drive without a plate for 180 days."
VIDEO | Motorists accused of engaging in ploys to skirt LTO's 'no plate, no travel' policy

April 8th, 2015 08:33 PM #1587i was given the same authorization and i got it personally from lto region III.. i applied for omvsp and i called them up to inquire if my plate is already available and they said not yet.. so i asked what should i do due to the policy of the lto.. the person ive talked to told me to go to lto pampanga and they will give me an authorization good for 6 months and need not worry.. so i went there and was given the said authorization as they say, omvsp may take 6 months before it will be available.. the signatory in the document is the same person in the video..

April 8th, 2015 08:46 PM #1588Here's a news post from Sunstar about the issue:
Pampanga car owners hit LTO | Sun.Star
Apparently, LTO Region III has a lot of backlog on plates.
I am going to call my dealer first thing tomorrow to rant about this.
I also sent a message about this to Sen. Alan Cayetano's official FB page (maintained by his staff)
I don't care if he is doing this for brownie points. As of now, he is the best hope we have for putting a stop to this nonsense.

Una, hindi nila kinumpleto agad yung requirements ng unit ko such as CSR and pnp clearance before or even after downpayment. Instead, by batch nila inaasikaso. Every 70 units yung batch.
