I think public buses will be banned from using the elevated highway.

maybe much cheaper to fast track the C5 road interconnection(completion). or build another C road.
PNoy's govt of plan never ceases to amaze me.:D

Yeah they should just fast track the NLEX-SLEX connection as well.

instead of building up elevated Edsa

    - promote businesses sa other provinces para di na pumunta pa ng manila mga taga province (like putting up call center)
    - eliminate old PUV (buses, jeepney, taxis)
    - eliminate colorum
    - paalisin mga squatters
    - limit franchise

pag gawin naman nila ung elevated EDSA
    - sino mag finance?

IMO, walang problema sa traffic while constructing. ganun talaga eh if we wanted to have more infrastructures magkakaroon talaga ng inconvenience sa mga tao. but they should be working 24/7 and siguraduhin mabilis matapos. konting tiis. parang yun SLEX and skyway. before you think na hinde na matatapos and perwisyo talga ang traffic but look at it now? tao rin nakikinabang. everybody needs to make sacrifices.

traffic will never ever be solved in MM until hinde alisin or bawasan at least 30-50% yun PUJs

My point exactly. Add to this proper traffic enforcement. I don't mind living in the province as long as most of the conveniences are there. The only reason why so many people from the provinces flock to Metro Manila is the lack of opportunities back home. If government is able to provide this expect not only daily traffic to improve but seasonal traffic as well. Metro Manila is so crowded, it shouldn't be the center of the Philippine universe anymore.

but that doesnt involve spending billions of pesos

gotta spend tons of money to have stimulus effect

    financed by govt borrowing

btt: that would be nice to see but the planning has got to be detailed and extensive. what if they do new elevated roads over the pasig river? at least dun walang problema sa mga right of way and if done properly hindi naman siguro mag cocongest ang pakitid na pakitid at tuloy tuloy na siltation sa ilog pasig. posible ba iyan? medyo unconventional thinking lang po

    agree ako dito.

Ok lang iyang iniisip nilang iyan. progress ika nga.

60 Kph lang ang takbo(siguro hanggang 70 buwelo paakyat ng fly-over) for life.

Rotation on assigned post at least a week(para anti-kotong). Patay na dito ang mga "kulurums"

Provincial businesses? Puwede! Wala ng halos lugar eh.
Ano ba iyong Eaton City? Gagawin ding Eastwood City? Baka puwede din doon!

And do our part, maintenance of our vehicle, wake-up earlier and drive cool.

At Sana walang bus at overloaded vehicles.
