BG, if that's the case, then wala na tayong proproblemahin. At doon naman sa mga may plano bumili ng B plate vehicles, eh safe naman siguro as long na the vehicle is out of CEZA, right?

*Test: the BIR has a 10yr window (prescription period) to collect taxes for these imports, it starts this year (2013) for the CEZA imported vehicles following the SC decision. Sabi ni esmi, the BIR should go after the importer and not after the vehicle buyers pero sa mga newsbits ngayon, parang baligtad gagawin ng LTO and BOC. Ang company kasi, madali i-shutdown yan. Ang mga vehicles, tangible property yan kaya siguro naisip nila mas madali habulin sino may hawak.
BTW, by logic, EO 156 covers vehicles imported from 2002 when this EO was signed and presumed constitutional since.Last edited by Horsepower; February 19th, 2013 at 10:43 AM.

Outright confiscation ba if you try to renew registration? May nakasubok na mag renewal ng CEZA car lately after the SC ruling? Pati yung LTO officials who sign the renewal of a CEZA car are liable under the law... Affected na rin mga surplus parts?
