LTO car registration and late registration fees

Madali lang ba proceso? Balak ko kasi walk in, para pa connect ang vehicle.

One thing I'm wondering also is pag online dapat ba PMVIC talaga? Emission lang kasi meron sa akin and nasa Metro Manila ata mga PMVIC. Kasi kung emission lang, edi wala ng vehicle inspection for road worthiness.

Temporary daw. I bet aabutin din ng ilang taon yang "temporary" plates na yan. Dapat gawin na nilang permanent yang at lagyan na lang nila ng proper controls. Wala kasing kita sa ganyang de-centralized setup.

takaw sita lang temporary plate sa HPG lalo na sa province. Kung meron ka naman authorization wala naman problema kaso abala lang.

they are inconveniencing the motoring public, thru mis-actions of their own doing.
why can't they assign car dealers into making these temporary number plates for their buyers?
en vez na yung dealers' ad plates ang binibigay, yung temp plaqa na lang ang ibigay.

A friend mentioned that when he renewed, they checked hi EWD & said that it did not pass the LTO standards & that he had to purchase a new one.

Sabi magaang daw & needs to be a certain weight. Sabi ko hiramin ko yung EWD niya pag mag renew ako. He said they mark it daw para hindi nga magamit ng iba pag nag renew hehe.

Thank you for this post! Since LTO hadn't been looking for the EWD device for over a decade I haven't replaced the old one that got broken. I made sure to buy a new one because of this post and LTO did indeed check it when I renewed my registration this morning.
