Anyone registered their car lately? Inaabot pa rin ba ng 2 days?

I think pre pandemic it takes less than half a day, so why is LTO moving backwards?

i registered my car the other week, at the lto satellite station. hecho derecho (all-in: emissions, tpl, lto.)
it took nearly 1.5 (or 2?) hours, because...
i noticed at once, that the place that was usually near-deserted, had many people milling about. most of them, motorcycles.
i asked why.
"sir, endo ngayon (sept 29). in two working days, malaki na ang penalty."

the week before that, it took me less than an hour to register the other car.

coz tugade and PMVIC

back then i'd goto LTO around 4:30 when everyone's done and i'd be done in about 10mins

now if you go the emissions testing center route instead of PMVIC then expect delays:

1) delay at emissions test. coz LTO artificially limits the number of tests per day

2) delay at LTO coz LTO artificially limits the number of non-PMVIC transactions per day

My car is for renewal. Got an MVIS nung Monday...conpleted in about 40 mins dahil sa pila.

Inspection center has its own LTO sat office (Sta. Clara PMVIC akong MacArthur Hiway, Dakila, Malolos).

Kaso wala daw tao saka 1k ung TPL..

Dinala ko na lang sa AAP Pampanga. Baka makuha pa this week.

LTO fees including TPL: 3107 pesos
MVIS: 672 pesos

Finished renewing my registration yesterday. Punta ako sa suking emission testing center after ko idrop sa school anak ko. Mga 15 mins tops siguro inabot ko.

Then went to LTO Makati in the afternoon after picking my son up from school. Arrived there maybe 4:15 PM? Labas masok lang din. Walang pila. Pagpasok ko, ako na agad sa inspection. Direcho pasa ng docs sa window (kumpleto docs na pagpunta ko). Nood Just for Laughs habang naghihintay ng pangalan sa cashier. Wala pang 30 minutes tapos na ko. Parang mga 20 minutes lang yata kasama waiting time. P2180 total ko.

Kainggit naman ang bilis.. Sa Emission testing sobrang tagal kapag gas, ang dami naka-motor.. Kaya pag-bukas palang ng gate sa LTO Cainta, wala na sila tatanggapin sa Emission testing, quota na sa dami ng naka-motor..
Kapag Diesel walang pila..

Siguro dahil nagpunta ako ng last day? Tsaka yung punta ko ng emission umaga, kakabukas pa lang nila. Pati pala, yung suking emission ko is malayo sa LTO. Mga 5 kms.
