Depende ata which field office ka pupunta. Got ours last week from G.Araneta LTO. Old yellow and blue papers. Kasabay ko friend ko and of course, the same. Tapos this week nakita ko from a different field office, yung kasing laki na ng TCT. At least pwede na isama sa mga real estate papers para same size lahat. Hehehe

Patulong naman, got nowhere trying to google...
Bought car January 2020.
Plate number ending 87 (so 3rd week of July, assuming no extension)
Do I renew registration sa January 2023 (sakto 3 years since original registration), Sa July 2023, or renew it now (plus a few months due to pandemic extension)?

July 26th, 2022 05:17 PM #697Nung nagrenew ako ng car ko after 3 years, wala ako penalty. Car was bought December 2018 and February 2019 niregister ng casa sa LTO as shown sa CR. Renewed June 2022 (plate ending 5) at a PMVIC. I was expecting a penalty pero wala naman nakalagay sa OR.

July 26th, 2022 05:36 PM #698technically, it may not be a penalty.
but did you pay the correct usual annual fee?
baka kasi, wala ngang penalty, but you paid for an additional several several months' worth, as it was registered several months after the rounded-off year.
i have experienced LTO to charge me less than, as well as more than, depending on the above dates.
pro rata. walang patawad.
but one should always pay attention to the car insurance, TPL and/comprehensive.
their coverage dates might not always coincide with the LTO's coverage dates.Last edited by dr. d; July 26th, 2022 at 06:05 PM.

July 26th, 2022 06:17 PM #699^Just checked LTMS portal for the registration fee as well as yung OR ko. Parang tama naman na wala nga penalty. Vehicle type is SUV which is Php 2300 for upto 2700kg. Php 2300 (+100 and 10 for change venue and legal research fees, respectively. lol ) lang binayaran ko.
