Kailangan ba talaga in sync sa OR expiration ang Compre?
Eto yung scenario ko ngayon, yung Compre ko is Oct.
Is it necessary to have Compre renewal the same date as my OR renewal date?
Once mag expire na Compre ko after 3 yrs, this means Nov-Feb, I won't be covered by my Compre.

i have the same problem as you.
my tpl and compre insurance coverage dates do not co-incide.
ayaw ako pagbigyan ng casa-based insurance ko. i have to deal with them twice a year. buti na lang, tinatawagan ako ng tao.

the law dictates only for the tpl.
the law couldn't care less for the compre.

Per our experience not really. Just makes it easier to remember for you as the car owner.

I know you can talk to your insurance agent if you'd like to extend the term for the year when you renew after you get/know your plate number. That way, the next year, there'd be no more need to juggle two dates in your head for the car (compre renewal and Registration renewal).

EDIT: Doc, hirap nga kung tied to the bank yung insurance, less flex.

Before we get a car loan, kinakausap na namin if papayag bank that we opt for our own insurance. As long as approved, no issues with the bank, insurance and us... tuloy ang car loan.

So far, sure ako napapayag naman ang Security Bank with that arrangement, and I think BDO pumayag din. BPI hindi pumayag nung pinresent namin yung idea.

when i renewed my car last september, wala na nga.
hindi nako siningil for the sticker.

yes wala na.

Alam ko may naka tatak na sa OR ng renewal ng registration yung LTO Order specifically mentioning it na wala na stickers.

Checked OR din and wala na nakacharge na sticker din naman sa OR nung nirenew namin nung october.

For reference.

It was because of this Order within LTO that they will no longer issue anymore. So may basis naman sila sinet and di lang sa di nagorder na sadya. =)

kahit papaano "nagkakasistema" hehe!

i had my truck registered yesterday. supposedly last october iyon dapat pero i chose to do a massive act of procrastination.

wala naman penalties pero wala din sticker. and wala ng tao although baka ngayon since last day madami ang humabol (just like me)

wala ng charge yung sticker sa new OR para sa Carnival namin.
bilis din yung plate number processing... less than 3 weeks labas kaagad.
