Driving a vehicle with dented/damaged windshield - is this a violation?

Sasamahan ko bukas nanay ko s hospital.may crack yung windshield ko. Ang appointment ko s shop for replacement ay sa friday pa.

Plano ko gamitin ang sasakyan bukas panghatid sa nanay ko sa hospital para iwas commute. May violation po ba akong gagawin kung sakali?

i agree, a vehicle with a damage windshield is not a road worthy vehicle, the glass can reduce/distract your visibility on the road and worse can shatter anytime with use...

Madami naman ganyan sa daan, nilalagyan pa ng ng tape na oarang spider web ang dating hindi naman hinuhuli. Basta huwag lang basag as in shattered na yung glass. Kung break lang pero clean break naman ok lang di ka papansinin.

Pag mabasag salamin mo while transporting your mom sa hospital, baka maging emergency case ka pa ng di oras. Baka pagsisihan mo pa.

Better mag uber or grab ka na lang. Safe ka pa.

All depends on how bad the crack is. As long as it isn't exposed to undue vibrations, the crack shouldn't propagate that quickly.

Salamat sa advice mga sir...nagcommute na lang kami... pinasok ko na din sa shop yung sasakyan at pipick-upin ko na sya mamaya..
