"We are taking the safety of the lives of individual, the reason why the agency has been very careful and strict in vehicle modifications"..."Kaya nga gumawa pa ng DO dahil buhay nga ang pinangangalagaan ng agency"... kaya naman pala dapat dalhin muna para makotongan este mainspection muna ni Engineer Donato bago i-modify

July 11th, 2014 07:49 AM #105A venue for kotong kaya nilagay nila iyan. Pasok sa lane mo without signaling, at biglaan pa.

Example: laws says apphrehending team need a sound meter to check if the muffler is within the limit...
Problem: walang sound meter...either you give grease money and go on your way...or they issue a ticket and then figure out if your ride falls within the legal limit at LTO...
LTO official...balding...big tummy...very typical Philippine gov't official...heheheLast edited by Monseratto; July 11th, 2014 at 08:24 AM.

July 11th, 2014 08:44 AM #107kapag tinanggal ang tambutso at pinalitan ng "open pipe raw", ay maingay talaga.
i will agree that removing the tailpipe should be deemed an illegal modification.
but rim size...?
and please, let us not mention body habitus. baka multuhin tayo ni ike lozada at tito pepe.
let us be more professional in our critique..

July 12th, 2014 03:06 PM #108Plate covers ok lang no problem pero mods? What if kelangan mo palitan yun rims and tires? What if kelangan mo magpalit aftermarket bumpers? Paano yun winch? Hindi naman lahat yan eh pamorma lang! Try going offroad with oem tires and rims lalo na sa muddy terrain..

July 12th, 2014 04:04 PM #109SEEK permission from the Land Transportation Office before modifying your vehicle.
This warning was aired by Land Transportation Office (LTO) spokesperson Jason Salvador in the wake of reports that some car enthusiasts have modified their vehicles without permits or clearance from the agency.
Salvador, in an interview, cited Department Order No. 2010-32 which states that any individual or manufacturer should first bring the vehicle that will be modified to the LTO-Northern Motor Vehicles Center, under Engineer Joel Donato, for inspection.
“We are taking the safety of the lives of individual, the reason why the agency has been very careful and strict in vehicle modifications,” Donato said.
Donato said that under the DO, not allowed are axle modification, chassis modification, extended chassis and body, additional sidings of dump trucks, extended overhang, change of rim size, modification of handle bar and muffler and reconfiguration of body dimension and design.
Donato said all modified vehicles proven to have violated the guidelines shall be put on “alarm” and may not be registered.

July 12th, 2014 10:10 PM #110In short eh magbayad muna bago mag-mod..
As usual...
Paano yun oem ang hid?
I hope they improve the interior a bit. The current is IMHO low-rent for the price.
