Bad news folks. Sabi sa Philippine star, the LTO has released a new guideline regarding commemorative plates: “The commemorative plate shall not be superimposed over the regular plate. It shall be installed in front of a motor vehicle either at the right side or left side of the regular plate. As such, the regular plate shall be maintained in the space provided for the purpose. Removal thereof shall be deemed a violation of this order. No commemorative plate shall be installed at the rear of a motor vehicle. Placing the commemorative plate at the rear of a motor vehicle shall be strictly prohibited and penalized accordingly.”

Ang labo ng ruling na ito. Ano ang gusto ng LTO, I will drill a hole sa bumper ko to accomodate the two plates.

kalokohan itong guideline na ito.. kaya walang nangyayari sa pilipinas puro utak talangka mga nakaupo.. mag-iisip lang patawa pa. taas na nga ng presyo ng gas nakikisawsaw pa mga damu..

Just got a copy of Administrative Order AHS -2008-013 amending Setion 7 of AO BGC-AO-99003 which in turn covers the use and issuance of commemorative plates.(You may request a fax copy from 9219057)

Angst's post basically lifts from this AO dated 27 March 2008. I dont exactly like the idea of placing the CP's beside my cars original plate...PANGIT! I have 3 cars all of them sporting UP commemorative plates and Im taking them off. Medyo mainit ang MMDA at TMG sa mga CPs at ayokong ma-hassle.

I have no choice but to take off my commemorative plate. Damn! What a waste of money

nagbebenta ko ng commemorative plate at medyo masama publicity ngaun about it... pero ang guidelines talaga is to put it over the regular plate... medyo nililigaw talaga ng enforcers and other officials ang users.... so sa lahat ng users ng CP pasensya na sa abala.,,,.
