I dont like Binay too. pero sa tingin ko this issue has nothing to do with Binay. hindi naman siguro sya ang may pakana nyan. he's too busy para pansinin yang mga tinted plate covers.

but anyway, I just noticed that our Ford Explorer has the DEFLECTOR name in the clear glass plate cover. pero pababalik balik naman yun car sa makati, fort, pasay daily wala naman humuhuli. siguro tinitignan din kung ano klase car.

Clear glass / plastic plate covers are used in other countries to avoid being caught by traffic light cameras. The cover "deflects" the light to blur the plate number in the picture. Hence the bubble design on some of them.

It is just the same as tinted / colored plate covers. Why would a plate number need protection from? Dust? Dirt? It's more convenient to clean it without the plate cover, plate covers are not sealed from dust. When a plate becomes dirty, it is even more inconvenient to clean it.

pwede ba palitan yung DEFLECTOR name lang? saan kaya makakabili ng TOYOTA name for deflector? gusto ko sana tanggalin nalang yng DEFLECTOR name. paano ba ito matatanggal?

Guys, I just want to have a final clarification. Lam ko sobra tagal na na thread ito.

Tinted Glass Plate cover - Bawal

Frame with no glass - Pwede

How about Clear Glass cover (colorless)?

Kc I work in makati and i just installed a clear (colorless) glass on my ride. The cover also has the Label of the car manufacturer din. Para sana di maging madungis ung plate number.

    Pwede ba un?

I have read another forum about the same topic and one said that he works in Makati City hall and said bawal ung Tinted or colored cover but ung transparent pwede daw, the thing is mororcyle forum naman to...

Most of the ordinances about making a street to a one-way street.

Ako clear glass with no frame sa plate ko.

Although I don't frequent Makati, pero madalas ako sa Pasay. Never pa naman ako nahuli sa Pasay or pag dumadaan ng Makati.

I'm pretty sure yung clear glass cover is allowed basta hindi lumalabo or something.

Hindi pa nahuhuli kotse ko sa makati (I use the clear glass covers myself).
