Re. return of the zipper lane?

    K-a-g-a-g-u-h-a-n in general.

IMO, they should first train their traffic management personnel to actually manage traffic (with coordination) rather then stand on the side or stand on the middle of the road as human pylons.

More like turnstiles bro. They are there but don't really serve any function. Nakakaabala pa nga minsan kasi iiwasan mo pa sila.

Agree on coordination. Remote monitoring via cameras and communication via radio is key.

And why don't they just issue tickets for each and every violation? That should loosen up traffic some.

Mukhang pumalpak yung dry run ng zipper lane... MMDA called off the experiment an hour before the 11:30 scheduled end. Northbound traffic tailend has reached Roxas Blvd.

Why oh why do they keep appointing lawyers to manage traffic? Jeez. It's like letting a doctor run the DOJ or SolGen.

Because apparently the simple things will just not cut if for them.

And it's as if the lawyer running the DOJ isn't bad enough.

Palpak talaga. Any regular EDSA user need not see a dry run or experiment to know it is a doomed proposal given the volume of traffic going to both ends, 24/7. This isn't the 90s or early 00's anymore where traffic flow was going to makati in the morning, and to QC in the evening.
