Yes, that whole stretch in Sta. Mesa. No construction yet.

Construction is ongoing on the Buendia segment as well as the Araneta segment. But if you pass by SM Centerpoint/N. Domingo, that segment that should be connecting the 2 aforementioned segments is nowhere to be found.

I think, one section of that part will be passing thru San Juan River, kaya yung Sevilla Bridge (near Manila-Mandaluyong border) is getting rehabilitated in preparation for the construction of skyway there. Pero ito yung mahirap na section due to ROW issues. Nasa skyscrapercity.com yung ibang details ng project.

Section II was rerouted to San Juan River. Barges have been deployed and ready to go.

    Timetable IIRC: 19 months

NLEx - SLEx will be physically connected by two elevated toll highways:

    • Skyway Stage 3 by RSA/SMC (currently under construction)
    • NLEX - SLEx Connector Road by MVP/MPIC (to start construction 3rd quarter this year, mainly utilizing PNR RROW)

Sabi sa nabasa kong article dati, around 2016 daw matatapos yung nlex-slex connector via skyway pero up to now, wala parin. Kelan ba talaga nilang balak itapos ito? Kasi parang walang kamatayan ito eh kaya mas lumalala pa ang traffic ngayon.
