    no way... too unpopular

so they'll let the jeepneys get away

double standard nga i've been saying all along

I honestly hated listening to the guest who was giving double speak answers.

    overall,
i have this sneaky feeling that they could not give straight answers because they were hiding something.

if they will implement this in the future
Less hassle to a lot of people.
if the certification is done in conjunction with the regular PMS of your vehicle then it might be more acceptable to most people.

It's not that they couldn't give straight answer, but they were giving what is essentially "corporate speak" to toe the line that favors their side and keeps them appearing like the good guy.

I get the limitation of Autodeal group in that interview. If they were confrontational, then they'd be hard pressed to find future guests for controversial topics. So I guess it served the purpose of at least letting the air out from the other side (MVIC).

Curious about the Subaru then since the guest mentions that is the only major account of a test gone wrong that they have not been able to trace. The LC and BMW are "resolved".

But, I do want to reiterate, I am not against the inspection, but I am against how they are implementing it and the requirements starting on 3 year old cars being required to do it annually. These things should be revisited properly and more properly emulate what is being done elsewhere instead of just being applied directly over our outdated LTO Registration system.

    like what one senator said,
"why did you not include the sub-population that will more likely fail these tests?"

    which is my point

pare-pareho tayo gumagamit ng kalye -- private cars and PUJs
