At ang pinaka-importante sa lahat...Being a licensed driver does not only gives you the privilege to drive a motor vehicle but it is also undertaking a RESPONSIBILITY. This means you cause damage to life or property while in control of a vehicle, you pay for that damage. If there is any doubt as to who has the fault, you have to present your case to a traffic court.

Normally, road segregation lanes are painted with directional arrows about 10 to 15 meters before any intersection. In a 2 lane road (where a left tun is allowed, the both lanes can be used by vehicles turning or going straight. Left lane turns left, right lane turns right. On a 3 lane road ( where left turn is allowed ), the middle lane is absolute going straight. Right lane for vehicles going straight or turning right, left lane is turning left.
On a 4 lane road (where left turn is allowed), the left most lane (aka inner lane) is for vehicles turning left only, the two middle lane is for vehicles going straight and the right most lane (aka outer lane ) is for right turning vehicles only.
As I do, I will advice that before you start your trip, PLAN AHEAD. Think: "WHERE WILL I PASS?" Assess the situation, If you're caught in a heavy traffic, for sure it's heavy traffic every where. Let's say you are in EDSA CUBAO going to MAKATI via BUENDIA AVE. and traffic is slow moving. Will you stay on the inner left lane. Of course not. It would be wiser to stay in the middle lanes. when you get to just past Guadalupe, you change to the next right lane. Always use your signal light whenever changing lanes. In the US, changing lanes without a signal light is illegal and carries a heavy fine. This way you do not inconvenience other drivers around you or yourself.
Our roads are painted/marked by signs and as a licensed driver, it is your responsibility to know all these markings.
You will notice a white line along the curb of the road, this does not say "pedestrians keep off" or "this is the width of the road" rather the white line means " ABSOLUTELY NO STOPPING OR PARKING ALONG THE CURB ". In Singapore, the equivalent of this line is a zig-zag line painter along the curb of the road.

Of course. You should always do this whether turning left or right. Otherwise, you will not only inconvenience yourself, those behind you but also those going the other way as you may make your turn too wide.
Also, keep your vehicle in your lane. If you start your turn on the right outer lane then keep to the right outer lane. If your on the left, you shoould also end up on the left. Kung nasa midle ka, then end your turn in the middle. DO NOT CUT ACROSS in front of others.
