Unlocking function: OK on Key fob & Door Switch

Locking function: NOT OK on Key fob & Door Switch.
Works intermittently. Minsan Ok sa isang pindot. Minsan kelangan ilang pindot bago kumagat. Minsan ayaw talaga.

Key fob battery is new. Maski gamitin ko yung back up key fob, faulty pa din. Every time na press mo naman nag flash ang signal lights & nag arm yung alarm system. Ayaw lang talaga mag LOCK intermittently.

    Any inputs?

    Thanks
Looks like the locking mechanism of the driver door might be defective. Pa check nalang sa shop.

Mga sir favor nman just a solicited advice...i bought my fortuner last oct 2016..had trouble with air conditioning in less than a year..i brought it in casa to repair since 3x na nagfail ang aircon (its only a blower)..ang sabi meron daw leaked and they will repair it only ung part na may leaked..they open everything like dash board..evrything na dadaanan ng line ng aircon..worried ko lng baka maaffect other parts and may endanger out safety....its really a big mess to me..even my business was affected..
Ask ko lng ano ba dapat ko na action regarding this matter....salamat po..

    Hi all,

Planning to buy a used mid-2013 Fortuner 2.5G Diesel A/T, with 50000km on the odo. Will be getting this from Toyota used vehicles department. They priced it at 980k.

Really2 looking to get this, to replace our 17-year old Revo 1.8 DLX, instead of the Honda BR-V.

Is this a good buy? What should I check? Anything I should be aware of?

    Thanks!

Very competitive price ah, plus toyota certified pa so may warranty yan, right? Looks like a good buy.

    Edit: ang madalas ko makita na issues ng iba;
    1. Short life span ng OEM shocks
    2. Water leaks sa rear, somewhere sa D pillar, drips down to the cargo floor area. Some say sa rear door galing, yung sa daanan ng wires, some say sa roof rail mounting points.

Wala pako nakikitang common na major issue, lalo na sa ganyan ka mature na model.

that it's a used car, sir!
if i may suggest... ask the dealer exactly what items are included in their warranty, and then check (if you can) the items that are not included in the list.
    good luck.

Usually warranty is 1year engine (unless they changed it) Suggest to also do simple checks on the body that is easily covered up. I dont want anyone to experience what i have, the bumper looked good, pero nakakabit lang sya via alambre (malamang nabangga). But if no issues found, then i agree with L1quid it looks like a good buy! *baka pumayag pa sila 950

    Hi folks,

I hope your Manila Monday is off to a great start. Seeking help from our electrically-inclined tsikoteers out there. Anyone have any experience setting up/sourcing remote starters (think Viper / Cobra / Clifford aftermarket security systems) for our '17 Forts?
