theres a difference in sized. it means affected ang acceleration.
ang naging observation after the changes was slow response sa takbo nung car. i mean example was from low speed then mag overtake apak sa gas mahina ang responce nang car at ang takbo almost full apak na siya. naka drive ang gear didnt used manual plus minus. anyway no chances already to back to stock rim and tire. kaya need to find ways to get back the car performance. may magawa pa ba ang casa for this. may maa adjust pa ba in terms of acceleration response. or throttle responce. not sure what will do. baguhan lang. pinalitan lang ang golong kasi steel rim dati na 175/65/R14. kaya nung nag palit ang nilagay was 195/55/R15..
im posting this here hoping to get advised not to be make katatawa or matawag na tanga or know knowledge. accepted naman na baguhan lang. kaya nga nag join sa group para may makuhang knowledge not the other way around. dont have much knowledge in mechanical and car areas. kon sa electrical pa to sigoro no need to post it here i cant managed electrical issue without any problems.

sakin lang, pag gusto mo additional power ay palit ka ng auto. unless gusto mo ikeep yun car. pero if gusto mo ikeep yun car mo for sentimental reason (cant see any other reason for keeping a vios, altis or any ubiquitous car).

eto magagastos mo para additional 12hp ..

not really sure why significant ang loss of hatak ng size change mo. eh stock tires ng vios E variant ay 185 / 55 / 15 lang naman din
    vs your new tires 195/55/15

Subukan din mag Petron Blaze for 1 full tank.
Overspeced ang Blaze sa normal engine. Sa experience ko may difference sa underpowered na sasakyan ( or baka placebo effect lang hehe). Pero iyon maganda masubukan muna Blaze 1st hand kung may effect.

is it possible, that somehow, it is the CVT that is sapping the engine of its power translation to the tires?
    i.e., ayaw mag-segunda-tercera-cuarta..?

can you give us an idea,
what is the engine rpm at 10 km/hr?
what is engine rpm at 40 km/hr?
    ...at 60 km/hr?

Increase in RON rating will not improve performance. Perception lang yun at extra gastos.

Mas realistic yung sabi ni Ninja.

    sometimes,
an engine might have been programmed to run adequately on ron 91,
but in truth it was initially designed to, and run better, on ron 95...

Only reason I can think of is increased rolling resistance. More rolling resistance means more power needed to propel your vehicle.

Your new tires might be of lower spec than OEM, plus the wider rubber hence higher rolling resistance.
