    i don't vios, but

    consult your owner's manual, po.
the fuel octane recommended specifications may be there.

would using the more expensive, higher-octane fuel be advantageous?
    i do not think so.

I don't have a vios but i'd recommend you to use shell fuelsave gasoline instead of vpower. Mas mahal at mas malaking gastos kapag premium fuel gamit mo.
v power is recommended to be used more on high performance cars.

The service manual Recommends RON 91 which makes Shell Fuel Save more than enough (RON93) not a vios owner though so cant attest whether these recommendations apply to our conditions

Don’t expect too much from a car with a 1.3L NA engine with an output less than 100hp. Even with a pricey K&N filter, it won’t make a difference in performance. Just make do with what it can offer. An aftermarket turbocharger might help but it’s not an economical option.

some folks confessed, that they would modify their cars, only to bring them back to stock when it's time for the pms.
