    Hi Everyone,

I would like to seek for your comments and suggestions about the idea of putting a 17 Rims on a Toyota Vios 1.3 J 2007 model.

    Is it healthy?

Plus if 17 is a big NO then what would be the "best" size for that model?

It would help me a lot because im still in the process of deciding what to get.

Thanks a lot guys. I would appreciate your comments.

Yep, the 17's would fit. ;) You could even drop it a lil' more.

But if your vios J is the pre-facelifted one and it's silver or red it looks nice if it's paired with the OEM 15's of the high end 1.5G. ;)

Pair it more with some black side mouldings.

Thanks for that quick reply sir.

    Its a 2007 model.

Given that 17 is still ok, Will it affect my handling, speed and is it still ok to have 4 people inside your vehicle? I heard that some guys are having problem putting in too much weight on a 1.3J Vios with a 17 Rims

    thanks

    Not healthy.

    Ride quality will suffer.

    Acceleration will suffer

    Fuel economy will suffer.

    Stick with 15s.

agree... i have a different car but i changed from 15's to 17's and the car suffered in all aspects. especially in terms of acceleration and ride quality. even if i lost money returning to 15's, im much happier with the feel of the car. stick with 15's IMO

Thanks for that awesome advices. At first I was also hesitant on the idea of having a 17 wheels on a 1.3J Vios. But when I saw the "car show" a few months back, specifically at SM Megamall, I saw some of the "Vios 1.3J" wearing 17 rims. It looks really cool but at the same time I was having second thoughts on its performance having that "Big Rims" on it.

Anyway I guess we really have to decide what is the "real" purpose of our car, is it for display or for speed.

Lastly, I would like to cut it down a little bit.

How about 16 rims on a 1.3J Vios 2007 model??

Once again I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions.

    Thanks

Er. It's just 15's OEM or 17's aftermarket for me.

15's Vios S OEM or any 17's aftermarket rims.

    Sample pics with 16's ...

17's work + dropped with tein springs

    OEM 15's ...
