    2014 - 1996 = 18.
    16 + 18 = 34.
    180,000 / 18 = 10,000 km/yr driven..

sorry to say this bro but you just got fncked by a big car company. we as filipinos should start fighting for our consumer rights. gonna be an uphill battle coz as i've said people love getting effed, 300+ years of colonial rule must've had an influence too

If mineral oil every 3months or 3,000 kms ang advise.

Ano yan truck?

try to ask different Casa, may SA na magsabi na okay lang po 10T kms interval as long as FULLY synthetic. (gas models)

Sagot, oo or hindi. So many sheep waiting to be herded into the toyota barn on this thread SMH.

as i've said hondas do just fine with 10,000 interval. they must be built to higher tolerances then haha. so what about that toyota "higher standard" that you're talking about?

again you don't see the issue here. actually it's also 10,000 with toyotas under normal schedule. see above posts.

anyway i'm now convinced why toyota imposes the 5,000 interval here in the philippines. there are so many willing victims :P

If you don't believe in something bakit mo gagawin? At kung ayaw mo sa product at service including their business policy ng isang brand, we have all the options to choose what best fit into our needs/wants..

yeah but what if a customer wants a certain toyota or hyundai vehicle but is turned off by the PMS policies???

as for the oil, i'm not a tribologist, you're not either, so we really can't comment on the characteristics of the oil after a certain number of kilometers. as i've said, the very smart engineers WHO ACTUALLY BUILT THE ENGINE have indicated the recommended PMS intervals in their manuals.
