    Try nyo Sir patingnan sa ibang shops kung talagang sa valve lifter nga o sa injectors (rail) ang ingay. Mas mabuti na din na ma pin-point kung saan eksakto nanggagaling yung tunog. Ive had an FX and Revo which shares the same engine, though EFI yung sa Revo. Overtime mas tahimik pa yung FX as compared sa Revo, dahil pag tumagal maingay na yung injector rail. Though as mentioned, if this is the case, no worries as normal lang daw yun sa naluluma. Di naman ititirik.

    Patanong naman po about my AT GLX Revo: Malakas manginig while naka-on yung aircon, especially when on idle. And humihina yung batak ng makina if i turn on the aircon. Parang nahihirapan din sha magshift to higher gear. Any ideas on what could possibly be the issue? I plan to bring it to the auto-repair shop to have it checked but I I don't want to go there clueless.

    Looks like a malfunctioning idle-up / servo. Dalhin nyo Sir sa reputable shops and see if gumagana yung idle up / servo nyo, kung minsan nakukuha yun sa linis lang. Nababarahan kasi yun ng alikabok overtime. Make sure the technician uses contact cleaner or carb cleaner sa paglinis ng idle-up. Goodluck Sir!

    if i were me, i'd have my alternator fixed, instead of buying a surplus unit.
    the surplus unit might be in need of fixin' after a short while.

    ^ korek ka jan doc.

    I'm from the south and some time ago i brought my busted alternator to the highly recommendesd yok's electrical in qc to have it repaired. Sulit ang biyahe because it's back to being its primo self til now 👍

    to be or not to be, that always confuses me!

    [QUOTE=Chi-SR;2813759]Salamat.

    Alternators, especially the one's installed in Revo's are not that complicated as compared to newer ones. Electrical shops are very very capable of replacing every parts of those alternators. Yes, its much cheaper too as compared to buying the whole surplus unit.
