Hi Sir, thank you and sorry for the late response. I'll have the thermostat replaced asap.

Good Evening po! Just got a manual 2003 model GSX Revo at napansin ko na medyo mataas ang RPM during idle.

Not very familiar with the gas Revo. But our Mazda Tribute starts up at almost 1500rpm which AFAIK is to help it warm up, and then slowly goes down to the normal 800rpm in around ten seconds or so. Perhaps while adjusting the rpm he inadvertently disabled something on the compressor?

Gumagana naman po ang compressor pag nirerekta. Nung una akala relay lang diprensya pero nung tinest with new relay ayaw pa din mag-engage ang compressor. Blower lang ang gumagana.

By the way, inobserbahan ko muna yung rpm nya kung baba after start.

i do not know how electronic your revo is.
but in the olden days, some cars had an idle-up circuit that made the engine run faster rpm when the aircon is turned on, and also while the engine is started from cold. sort of a choke.
is it possible that someone intentionally upped your rpm to 1100, because the idle up circuit isn't working? that might be why it doesn't go down to 800-900 rpm once the engine gets hot.

^Our diesel Revo has the idle up circuit. When it wasn't working and the compressor was on, the idling rpm would either stay the same or lower than when the compressor was off. But the compressor still works even with the malfunctioning idle up circuit.

Thanks to all who bothered to help. Problem solved already! It was later that I found out during running (not only the engine but also the wheels) when I test to turn on the aircon that compressor automatically engaged. Just a noob observation though.
