Patulong narin worse case scenario saan maganda magpa overhaul. I hate those mechanics who remove bolts and nuts from our cars and when they return it may sobra nanganganak and when asked how come may sobra na hindi naikabit, theyl just answer wala yan sobra talaga yan. Kasi tiatamad sila hanapin saan hindi nalagyan. Those japanese who designed these i believe didnt design them na may sobra. Thanks for any inputs. Im desperate

Been reading this thread for a while. Planning to buy an AUV, Revo and Adventure pinagpipilian ko, although i'm leaning more on Revo dahil sa built quality and durability daw compared sa Advie. Also choosing between SR and vx200. Do you think 250k is enough budget for at least 2003 or 2004 model? I read na madalas problem sa revo is transmission. Any other problems na associated with Revo that I should check?
Also, I noticed me mga ads dito sa tsikot car finder that I find extremely low priced, like this one gold 2004 toyota revo for sale, Used, 2004, Philippines, RF164217, VX240D priced at only 155k. Dubious kasi karamihan puro email address tapos cebu location. Any experience dealing with sellers here at tsikot finder? thanks po.

I was in the same shoes before, but ended up choosing the Revo. Here are some of my previous observations:

    1. Build quality, mas maganda ang Revo
    2. Body Durability, mas matibay kaha ng Revo. Adventure has rust prone areas
    3. Suspension, mas matibay ang Revo.
    4. Engine (Gas), Mas malakas ang Adventure. Durability, I can attest on the Revo as I have one (7Ke), plus timing chain pa. But matibay din naman Mitsu. Efficiency, I would go with Mitsu's 4G63
    6. Aircon, parehas din naman malamig

With your 250k budget, may makukuha kang SR, but make sure you bring a mechanic (a real mechanic) just to be sure. I got the GLX MT version only, which has the basic features I need. The SR has the cosmetic upgrades only. The VX on the other hand has a 2.0 liter engine. Better get the manual for efficiency and durability. I also did not get the Diesel as I have the same concern as yours, plus the Smoke belching issue which will occur in the diesel engine life.

There are so many bogus sellers, be wise and stay away if you're doubtful. One more thing, don't believe those who will say its "sasakyan na lang". Remember its a second hand vehicle, there will be something to repair or least be replaced.

You might also want to check the following: 1. Make sure the thermostat valve is intact and working, 2. Radiator clutch fan is still good, 3. Servo still works, the idle should go up if the AC has been turned On, 4. Clutch must be light. Hard clutch means the plates and the lining might be too worn already, or the hydralics are sticky, 5. Check the radiator water, its must be treated with a coolant, otherwise, the vehicle has not meticulously cared by the owner.

    Good luck!

ask for surplus or replacement (not OEM) models. there's nothing hi tech about basic fan motors..
    that shouldn't be a problem for a well-stocked shop.

Mga sir, I have 2 main questions and follow-ups:

Sana may makasagot today. Salamat po sa mga sasagot.

    Sir jeve_96, here's my answer:

(type/kind of bulb, wattage, at ilang piraso) May areas na kasi na malabo at hindi na makita like yung sa speedometer area at sa tacho. - I think peanut bulb (or hugis peanut ) yung bulb. What I did with my was replaced them with LED's. The result was great!

- Halogen yung bulb, I think mga 55 to 65 watts lang yung original.

Sana may makasagot today. Salamat po sa mga sasagot.[/QUOTE]

Thank you for answering sir jvnj! I was able to go to a shop (after 5 days) and changed the bulbs on the instru panel but not with LEDs only replacements ones. Also, since the price for cleaning the headlight housing(?) is 2,500 (for the pair), I opted to just replaced it with Taiwan brand new for P 3,500 (also for the pair). Ayos kaya ung presyo nila o masyadong mahal? What do you think mga sirs? Tpos when I asked how much is the replacement for the fog lamps (pair), they priced it P 4,000 but the other shop in Banaue priced it P2,000 (pair) + labor (500).
