I did install an aux fan and my A/C cooling was significantly improved. Overheating during extended idling was eliminated but temp still goes up upon extended high speed operation. All this was already after having replaced the head gasket and valve cover gasket. In the end, we had the thermostat valve removed altogether. Apparently, the temp at which it opens is too high.
hi GTi, thanks for the feedback. hindi naman tumataas ang temp sa high speed. pero max napatakbo ko is 110 lang..

about sa thermostat, the first owner already remove it. pero pinalagay ko narin orignal thermostat pero pinabutasan muna para pag nag fail daw eh maka circulate pa water..

did you have your radiator overhauled or replaced? mine napa overhaul na ng first owner. pero hindi ko sure to what extent or kung maayos ang pag overhaul.

pag off ng aircon balik normal ang temp. i notice kapag nawala na lamig ng aircon thats the time aangat ang temp.

Overhauled lang. Radiator was replaced last 2013 due to a frontal collision. Check mo na muna kung nag high pressure ang compressor mo. Linisin narin ang radiator and condenser at baka madumi.

Yung Crosswind ng bro ko, nung nilagyan ng LoadPlus, di nagbago yung taas. Pero yung pag bagsak o pagbaba ng ride height pag kinargahan ng madami e konting konti na lang, halos wala na. Kung bagsak na sa ngayon yung likod ng Revo nyo, i guess dalawang paraan lang ang mainam na gawin, either replace your leaf springs to new one, or replace your spring mounts to a longer one para tumaas. Also, installing another leaf to your existing spring set will improve your ride height but might reflect additional stiffness.

Have just replaced the Revo's tires with Falken Sincera SN-816's (205/70/R14). Got them from Tireboy Maria Clara for 3k/piece. I'd have to say that handling is enormously improved from my old GTRadial Classiro's. There's hardly any body roll anymore!

Question lang po mga Revo Owners:

    - I'm planning to buy a Revo, may nakita kasi ko Sport runner 2000 model daw, pero manual windows tapos naka "Hub caps" , ang pagkakaalam ko po kasi sa mga sport runner eh all power tsaka naka-alloy ang mags, tama po ba? O may lumabas po talagang sport runner na manual windows?

The real SR has power amenities and no diesel variant for the 1st gen. If it has manual windows it is either a dressed up GL or DLX variant. If you're getting the 1st gen Revo, I'd suggest you get the GLX diesel variant (TOTL diesel).
