February 20th, 2014 10:56 AM #553Hello,
New Revo owner here. Replaced our trusted Tamaraw FX 96 with a Revo GLX 04 Gas MT.
Noticed that idle RPM is a bit high hovering at 1000 rpm. Sometimes it goes down to 800 Smooth naman ang idling and ride. Trying to DIY on the IACV. Had a hard time searching for but I think I finally found it and will try and tinker with it over the weekend. Tanong ko lang, any tips on how I should go about it? Anything to watch out for? TIA.

February 22nd, 2014 04:14 PM #556the use of spacer depends on the wheel size, wheel offset and tire size.
a member here has 17" wheels and 255/15-R17 tires. he used 1/4" spacers para hindi sumayad. not sure lang kung ano offset ng wheel nya.

February 22nd, 2014 07:38 PM #559Nasa under the hood pala yan? He-he.. thanks. But I looked under the hood. All I saw was the emission sticker. Walang idling speed, only some instructions in adjusting idling.
I have the 1.8L engine. How do I adjust idling RPM?

February 22nd, 2014 09:25 PM #560*Yodelehiyo: meron markings stamped sa wheel mismo. example, on my stock Toyota wheels, meron naka-stamped na 15X6JJ and 27. this means 15" tall, 6" wide, and 27mm offset.
you can use this calculator to see the effect of your new wheel width and offset. 1010TIRES.COM - Wheel Offset Calculator
pag masyado negative ang offset, tatama ung rim sa upper arm ng suspension. kapag more on positive naman, lalabas ung gulong. kapag umulan, puro putik yung tabi ng body.
bring your Revo to a wheel shop para ma-assist ka.
